This plaque is at the doorway of the Seanchai Library building on all three grids, and it poetically sums up of philosophy regarding live story presentation.  It is the opening from Kate DiCamillo's 2004 Newbery Medal adventure "Tales of Despereaux"

The world is dark, and light is precious - let us share a story with you this week.

Sunday, April 12th at 1:30pm - TEA TIME with Kipling! John Morland and Caledonia Skytower share selections from Rudyard Kipling's fantastical collection of origin stories featuring an array of animals - "Just So Stories"

Monday, April 13th, at 7pm  JACK OF SHADOWS Concludes  with Gyro Muggins. 

Tuesday, April 14th at 7pm  A WALK IN THE WOODS Concludes with Kayden Oconnell

Wednesday, April 15th 
  • at 6am  CONFESSIONS OF A FAILED SOUTHERN LADYwith Freda Frostbite & Trolly Trollop. 
  • at 7pm  CHRISTIE'S DETECTIVES: Short Stories by Dame Agatha Christie featuring Jane Marple this week , with Caledonia Skytower

All stories in voice and take place at Seanchai Libray on Imagination Island in Second Life, unless otherwise noted. Schedule subject to change, because that is just how life is sometimes.  

All sessions at the Seanchai Library (SL) are offered free to all Residents.  Guests at Second Life sessions are welcome to join us in donating to our featured charity Our featured charity through May 2015 is Habitat for Humanity (http://habitat.org) with a vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live - a safe and clean place to call home.
