THURSDAY MARCH 21st at 7PM: HILO LEGENDS

On the eastern side of the Island of Hawaii there is a crescent shaped bay where the old town of Hilo snuggles closely against the sloping hills. Polynesian peoples worked and played here for a thousand years before James Cook came in 1778. On rainshrouded days, when the hills and mountains are buried in mist and the Wailuku River roars to the sea, one senses that ghosts of the ancients still watch over old Hilo town. These are the very localized tales of this tiny spot in paradise.
