It's the return of a Seanchai tradition with Kayden Oconnell, Aoife Lorefield, and Caledonia Skytower including: O'Henry's "The Gift of the Magi," Dylan Thomas' "A Child's Christmas in Wales," and "A Visit from St. Nicholas."

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

TEA TIME presents a brand new six week series beginning today, Sunday, June 14th at 1:30 pm slt; the final episode on Sunday, July 19th

                     Dame Agatha Christie's "The Murder At The Vicarage"

"‘Anyone who murdered Colonel Protheroe,’ declared the parson, brandishing a carving knife above a joint of roast beef, ‘would be doing the world at large a favour!’ It was a careless remark for a man of the cloth. And one which was to come back and haunt the clergyman just a few hours later – when the colonel was found shot dead in the clergyman’s study. But as Miss Marple soon discovers, the whole village seems to have had a motive to kill Colonel Protheroe."
~ from agathachristie.com

Aoife Lorefield, Da5id Abbot, Caledonia Skytower, Corwyn Allen, Gloriana Maertens, Kayden Oconnell, Willow Moonfire, live.

The Murder at the Vicarage is the first novel to feature the character of Miss Marple and her village of St Mary Mead. This first look at St Mary Mead led a reviewer in 1990 to ask why these are called cosy mysteries: "Our first glimpse of St Mary Mead, a hotbed of burglary, impersonation, adultery and ultimately murder. What is it precisely that people find so cosy about such stories?"

Presented on Stream.

FRIDAY, December 27th at 6pm: TEA DANCE Take 2 at The Dickens Project

6-8pm slt ~ TEA DANCE AT THE OPERA HOUSE

A dance and ANOTHER chance for role play!
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The%20Dickens%20Project/105/157/501

The Setting: The Lady Agatha is hosting a *second* Tea Dance in (possibly vain) attempt to rescue her niece's reputation after the debacle of the last dance.

Her niece, the Lady Helen, a younger daughter of the Earl of Marshwold, barely showed up at the last dance and was *not* accompanied her fiancé, the Hon. Charles Smithington-Smythe, a wealthy young gentleman of the ton.

And the rumours! Gossips (Lady Agatha can call them nothing else!) are saying Smithington-Smythe is not who he says he is. Even worse, that he has been seen paying his attentions to other ladies, if such they be!

To provide a distraction, Lady Agatha has invited servants, staff, and others of the lower orders to stop by and receive their Boxing Day gifts.

Gossip will be happening! Possibly hi-jinx! Come and add your share!

Music by DJ Ktadhn Vesuvino, and Hosted by Aoife Lorefield. Choose your character as you prefer or contact Aoife to ask for suggestions!

Victorian dress is requested for this event. If you need some, there are free outfits available at the shops on Dickens Square.

Before you know it, there's music and dance and drinking and eating and all kinds of goings on!

[Choose your character as you prefer or contact Aoife Lorefield to ask for suggestions!]

Corwyn Allen performs sea shanties and other songs from 6-7 pm SLT.
Aoife Lorefield keeps the music going, spinning Irish and other tunes.

Period dress is requested for this event. This area outside Fezziwigs is not fancy, though, so come all ye urchins and other down at heels types! Some clothing can be found at the shops in Dickens Square.
