It's been a rough trip for Skink, the ex-Gov of Florida. He's had his foot run over while saving a baby skunk, wrestled with an alligator, and then taken a gun shot to the chest from Tommy Chalmers. Skink and Richard have been tracking Tommy down, after he kidnapped Richard's cousin, Malley. Life has been no picnic for Tommy either, he's had a catfish stinger impale his hand, and been gored by a wild pig. After bringing Skink back to life with some emergency CPR, Tommy slipped away from Malley's rescuers. Will they find him before the book ends?
