Shoe worn by Pope Benedictus XV, made in the late 19th C and worn in the early 20th C |
It's time for the last story of the year at Seanchai - and
what a year it has been! So Caledonia has chosen to share a memorable adventure from
fellow indie-author MJ McGalliard (The Beggar's Day Series) involving absurdist humor, saints,
shoes, and a Pope who thinks outside the box, even in the bathtub. 75 minutes, and every moment is worth it.
Note: if you take your Catholicism very seriously, you might want to give this story a miss - irreverent, though not blasphemous - as it takes a view of the faith that is filled with ironic humor.
