SUNDAY, November 15th at 2PM: TEA TIME with Caledonia

Caledonia shares the final chapter in her short story collection A TRIO OF IRISH TALES II, due to release before the end of the month.   Here is the machinima trailer for the story "Two Houses":

In "Two Houses" a young American couple on their honeymoon in Ireland find that ties to their Irish heritage are far more insistent than just simple genealogies.  As the past disturbs their future, Mark and Cate must unravel the mystery of two houses that suffered very different fates, but that are somehow connected.

Caledonia presents Part 1 of 2, live in voice.

FRIDAY, January 2nd at 7PM: *Special* CALE'S SCRIBBLINGS

Our Caledonia was busy in December!
Not only did she keep the Library schedule hopping, participate in readings in both SL & Kitely, organize Fezziwig's Ball, and lay the ground work for EXPLORE The Great Gatsby, but she also published two short story collections (and posted a brand new five part essay for Christmas).

How does she do all that?  BECAUSE SHE'S INSANE, that's why!  No, actually it is because her creative spirit does not, cannot rest.  Join us for the first Seanchai SL session of 2015 as Cale shares some of the fruits of her literary labors from last year.

Presented Live in Voice.

WEDNESDAY, September 10th at 7PM: Selections from A TRIO OF TRAVELING TALES

"Some journeys are measured in city blocks, and some can only be measured by how they change your life."

In this new collection from Caledonia's (aka Author Judith Cullen's) Trio Tales Series, three stories are focused on journeys, large and small, which take unexpected turns or which lead to unanticipated places. Cale shares selections live in voice.\

TUESDAY, July 22nd at 7pm: MIRACLES ~ A TRIO OF ISLAND TALES

Caledonia (aka author Judith Cullen) reads selections from her newest collection of micro-fiction.

"Belief is crucial to life.  If there is a through-line to most of my work, it is the need for all of us to believe in something beyond ourselves.

"Belief is woven into all three of the stories in this collection. These stories are fictionalizations of Tongan history and family stories shared by my collaborator, Ilaisaane Filikitonga Tome.  She is a native born Tongan: an amazing Polynesian kingdom in the South Pacific known for the friendliness of its people, an exceptionally high literacy rate, and for devoutly faithful Christians. The power of her stories is moving and undeniable.  You may or may not share her belief system, and that does not really matter.  It is hard to hear her stories and not recognize the essential power of them."

SUNDAY, June 15th at 10am in Kitely: MIRACLES: A TRIO OF ISLAND TALES

Caledonia Skytower previews her newest about-to-be-released short story collection.

Belief is essential to life.  If there is a through-line to most of my work, it is the essential need for all of us to believe in something beyond ourselves.  It does not matter what.  Simply believe.  By believing in something beyond yourself, you learn to better understand your world: to believe in yourself. "Miracles: A Trio of Island Tales" includes three adventures based on real life events which took place in the Island kingdom of Tonga, late in the 19th Century - Miracles of Earth, Water, and Fire.

A new original short story by Caledonia Skytower (Judith Cullen) read live in voice.

Starting tomorrow, October 16th, this story will be part of author Lissa Bryan's Online Ghost Story Competition.  You can visit the "Ghostwriter" Ghost Story Contest Blog and vote for Cale's Story HER OWN WORDS if you like, or any of the other submissions.  The winning story will be announced on Halloween!
