CONGRATULATIONS NOMINEES!

Congratulations to our Friends and Scolarthas Kayden Oconnell, Aoife Lorefield and Freda Frostbite who have been nominated in the Favorite Spoken Word / Performer categories for men and women.

The representation in the Arts for spoken word and theatrical events are very modest by comparison with the Live Musicians, DJs and Club Venues (you have to scroll waaaaaay down to the bottom of the ballot).  If you'd like to show your support for live voice performance and spoken word on the grid, consider going The Avi Choice Awards Arts Ballot and vote for the performers of your choice.  There is also an opportunity to make suggestions for the future. The Arts voting will close on Monday, February 23rd at 5pm SLT

In the mean time:  Bravo and Brava to Kayden, Aoife, and Freda!

A fire breathing dragon has entered your realm? No problem! A star falls from the sky? Catch it! Don't like the prince you are obligated to marry? Dump him! Your daddy's the king and he thinks you aren't worth his attention much less capable of ruling the realm? Prove him wrong!

Ermengarde the Expansive had a lot to overcome in spite if being born royal. Through strength and perseverance, she grew in power, stature, and, most importantly, self esteem. Ermengarde is the princess our daughters could and should aspire to emulate.
