THIS WEEKEND: Performances and Events at The Bradbury Project - October 16-18

We have many performances and events this weekend. SO MANY that it's a good time to remember some handy tips for managing your computing resources when attending such performances:

  1. Arrive early, as much as 45-30 minutes early so your viewer can cache the region and fully load it for the performance event.
  2. Make sure you have as few scripted objects attached as to you as possible. Take off those HUDs unless you absolutely need them during the performance. They only contribute to lag. In a large audience situation, that can bring the performance to its knees.
  3. Take off face-lights other focus-stealing items: you are there to see, not to be seen.
