THURSDAY April 30th at 7pm: THE SHELL BOX (75 minutes)

THE SHELL BOX
(TONIGHT'S STORY SESSION WILL BE 75 MINUTES LONG)

From the book /Silver Birch, Blood Moon'

'The Shell Box' is a conflation of Selkie and Roane stories, some “Bluebeard” tales, with a bit of “The Little Mermaid.” There are also elements from a Welsh tale called “The Lady of Llyn y Fan Fach,”

When a lonely woman receives the only offer of marriage she's ever had, she commits to her new husband totally. In her love, she is blind to the fact that the poor fisherman she has tied herself to is a proud, cruel and indifferent man.
