Holmes is confronted by a German Royal needing help regarding an indiscretion and the photograph that proves it. In this, one of the first adventures in the first collection of Sherlock Ho,mes stories published by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Holmes comes up against the woman he will forever refer to after as "The Woman."
