When we left Nim, she had escaped from an erupting volcano (albeit with a badly scraped knee) and also from the tacky, crass Troppo Tourists. Her father is still not home, and circumstances seem to be crowding in on Nim - all alone on the island but for her animals friends.As another storm hits and everyone is in danger, including Alex Rover and Nim's Dad, Nim finds courage she never knew she had and becomes her own real, live hero!
