Getting Around The Dickens Project

Of course, we encourage guests to explore The Dickens Project through more pedestrian means. Yet that is not the only way to explore, especially if you'd like to get a quick overview of the extent of The Project.

Bay Rum Royal of Canterwell returns for her third year. This popular horse and her cart (provided by Elite Equestrian) makes a 25 minute double loop tour of the entire region. She can seat up to four guests in her cart at a time, and you may find her speaking to you and offering you gifts and her own advice on what features you might enjoy.  Note, while Bay's cart is phantom, Bay herself is not.  If you get in her way, she will push you . . . . probably while handing you an attractive Christmas wreath.

Merrylegs the Shetland Pony is making his debut at this year's Project. Unlike Bay Rum, who follows a guided path, Merry is completely rideable. Merry is also provided by Elite Equestrian, and can be found stabled in the Livery at the north end of the "Present" Commercial District, right next to Elite Equestrian's information space (27 on the map) unless some roguish guest has left him wandering the mudflats, or grazing in the birch forest.

The Hot Air Balloon takes you on a 20 minute tour of the region from the sky, with a little side trip to our sky-box large event venue, The Opera House. Set the Windlight in your viewer to "Midnight" and enjoy a starlit float high above The Dickens Project.  There's no telling what surprises you will find when you take to our friendly skies!  The Balloon can be found in the "Past" area of the region on near the skating pond. (19 on the map).
