SATURDAY, May 21st Beginning at 1pm: THE BIG READ of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"

Alice was ..."considering in her own mind ... whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her."

Saturday, May 21st at 1pm SLT seven members of Seanchai Library's Story Staff will assemble in the Crazy Eights Arena on LEA 9 to present the entire text of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

"We begin at the beginning, and go on till we come to the end, then we stop, "quoted Caledonia Skytower, when explaining what a Seanchai Library "Big Read" is.  Voice performers including Corwyn Allen, Hana Hoo, John Morland, Kayden Oconnell, Dubhna Rhiadra, Trolley Trollop, and Caledonia Skytower.

The presentation will begin with "Down the Rabbit Hole" at 1pm slt, and conclude with "Alice's Evidence" shortly after 4pm.  The performance will begin with voices reading in pairs and crescendo to a cacophony involving the entire cast, in a script arranged by Kayden Oconnell which includes all the words from the original, with no adaptation.

When asked what more we should know, Skytower replied, "The stage is set: the tea is poured, the cards are dealt.  All that remains is you!"  Guests are welcome to enjoy all or part of Saturday's performance.
