WEDNESDAY, April 25th @ 7pm: "Two Old Women: An Alaskan Legend", Part 1

(An apology to all our friends at the library for the last minute change. We hope you will still join us for this FABULOUS story! ~*Flutters Her Wings*~

Based on an Athabaskan Indian legend passed along for many generations from mothers to daughters of the upper Yukon River valley in Alaska, this is the suspensful, shocking, ultimately inspirational tale of two old women abandoned by their tribe during a brutal winter famine.  In simple but vivid detail, Velma Wallis depicts a landscape and way of life that are at once merciless and starkly beautiful.   Part II, story in voice.
