Jon Hassler's "Staggerford". Part 1.Jon Hassler grew up in rural Minnesota and wrote about his roots in small town life in his novel "Staggerford", about a high school English teacher and the remarkable and unremarkable people he meets. Hassler taught for years and said that "after a young graduate told him studying literature had taken all the fun out of reading, he made it a personal mission to make studying literature fun again."
In "Staggerford", we'll meet Miles Pruitt, a 35 year old bachelor, during one increasingly eventful week of his life. Story in voice.
