Seanchai ("Storyteller" in Irish) Library celebrates the Celtic tradition of stories told around the hearth or in the pub to friends, family, and welcomed strangers. Seanchai Libraries bring stories of all kinds to life, in Second Life.
Caledonia continues the adventure into the Discworld of the late Terry Pratchett (you just KNEW she would!) live on Stream.
King Verence I of Lancre is murdered by his cousin, Duke Felmet, after his ambitious wife persuades him to do so. The King's crown and child are given by an escaping servant to the three witches. The witches hand the child to a troupe of travelling actors, and hide the crown in the props-box. They acknowledge that destiny will eventually take its course and that the child, Tomjon, will grow up to defeat Duke Felmet and take his rightful place as king. What could possibly go wrong?

Close
bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with
him how to load and bless
With
fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples
the moss'd cottage-trees,
And
fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To
swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With
a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later
flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm
days will never cease,
For summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells . . .

... and other virtual worldsMore selections from A BLINK OF THE SCREEN in The Glen
In the four decades since his first book appeared in print, Terry Pratchett has become one of the world's best-selling and best-loved authors. Here for the first time are his short stories and other short-form fiction collected into one volume. A Blink of the Screen charts the course of Pratchett's long writing career: from his schooldays through to his first writing job on the Bucks Free Press, and the origins of his debut novel, The Carpet People; and on again to the dizzy mastery of the phenomenally successful Discworld series.
Caledonia reads Hollywood Chickens, and more. Presented live on stream in The Glen.

... and other virtual worldsTwo gods, two houses, one quest and the eternal war between life and death. To save his kingdom, Anubis, Lord of the Dead, sends forth his servant on a mission of vengeance. At the same time, from The House of Life, Osiris sends forth his son, Horus, on the same mission to destroy utterly & forever The Prince Who Was a Thousand.
But neither of these superhuman warriors is prepared for the strange & harrowing world of mortal life. The Thing That Cries in the Night may well destroy not only their worlds, but all humankind.
Corwyn Allen presents the conclusion of this fantasy by Roger Zelazny, live on stream.
